I’ve seen a lot of content creators and some Reddit posts asking for a Godzillla/King Kong crossover. Well, hear me out: Monster Hunter.

Since CoD is already doing Godzilla/King Kong, Fortnite doing it would seem like a cheap copy/cash grab. Since Epic and Capcom have done many crossovers before, and again with more Street Fighters coming, it shouldn’t be hard to bargain for Monster Hunter. There are dozens of monsters there that could fill the same shoes as Godzilla and it would be amazing to get MH armors as skins and a palico for a pet. I say we try to push for Monster Hunter.

  1. I don’t think this is about fulfilling a desire to have giant monsters, but just people asking to have those two specific iconic monsters. I imagine many people wouldn’t give a rat’s ass about the MH creatures but would buy Godzilla without thinking about it because it’s iconic.

  2. Honestly, I don’t think people care about companies “copying” collabs. For one, neither company came up with the idea (obviously), and in the past many people have done the same to Fortnite: Spider-Man crossed over with PUBG Mobile immediately after Fortnite, Roblox did an in-game concert after the success of Astroworld in C2S2, COD did an “80’s Action Heroes” season right after Fortnite Season 5 (which featured tons of 80’s action heroes). If people complained about Fortnite “stealing collabs,” I don’t really think they have much to back that argument
