  1. I want all new major NPCs. I can’t stand the same old lore characters leading the charge in every expansion anymore. Jaina, Thrall, Anduin… get rid of them all. Wow needs brand new lore and a fresh story that’s nothing to do with revenge filled mortal bashing that we have had expansion after expansion.

I want Shadowlands to mark the end of a saga which has been going on for far too long, spanning multiple expansions. Make Dragonflight the start of a completely brand new adventure. And make it have an end. Don’t continue Dragonflight into the expansion after that. It makes the story too long and drawn out. Let’s have a good, new story that starts with Dragonflight and ends with it. Just like in the old days before Warlords.

I just fear that the moment Dragonflight arrives, I’m going to login all excited and the first thing I hear will be ‘Fear me mortal insects’ followed by Anduin’s voice, ‘Come, Champion, I need your help!’ – No! No more!

  2. Honestly, I just want new characters in general. I feel like the well is starting to run dry on finding new ways (ie, new ass-pulls) to work in existing characters.

But if I had to pick just one I want to never see again is Sylvanas, in any incarnation at all. I’m also tired of seeing Thrall and Anduin. It’s always the same with both of them. Thrall has been reduced to an “I dun want it” character that just sits on the side and looks stoic and Anduin is breaking the world record on times his blind optimism has been rewarded with disaster. It’s so tired.

  3. Baine, Jaina, Sylvanas, Genn, Bolvar (especially bolvar), Talanji, and Alleria

I’m also incredibly tired of goblins and gnomes

I would like to see more Malfurion, Jarod, Vereesa, Delaryn (pls more nelf dark ranger goodness), Broll, Valeera, Velen, Fareeya, Turalyon, FRIGGING VANDEL from the illidan novel, AND KHADGAAAAAAAAAAAR

I feel the latter either haven’t been shown properly in game, or haven’t gotten enough attention during the past two expacs
